About Helen Joynson:
My work shows a myriad of colour combinations, depth and dimension that enlightens your soul. The colours I use come from a diverse source of inspiration - such as our planet, as well as other planets, the environment and nature.
One can immerse themself in the detail of delicate movements of colour as it comes alive on the canvas, balancing together in harmony - this represents the way in which we should all live together, in harmony and with nature. Without harmony and serenity in our daily lives, the beauty around us wil not survive and humanity will force itself to extinction - what a terrible thought.
I feel that as an artist I can convey a message of our universe by exploring the different use of colour and patterns - colour to the Soul plays an important part in our daily lives, much like food for the body - this is why we often find ourselves attracted to colour.
All of my paintings have an energy which uplifts our spirit.
